Last Christmas at Westborough

If you have a little girl, get a pink tree from WalMart.
It is precious, and so worth the $15.
Or just wait until after Christmas, and get a pink one and a blue one for half off!

I love it when I open the Christmas decoration boxes and find things I bought on clearance from the Christmas before.  I found three ornament garlands from Target that I made into
wreaths for my kitchen windows.

Mom gave me this when I was pregnant with Elijah.

Pri gave us this ornament from Starbucks when he lived with us.

Thanksgiving in Tennessee

This year was our turn to spend Thanksgiving in Tennessee,
and we had such a fun visit!
The weather was atrocious on the drive over, as we drove through a monsoon,
but it cleared up and the kids spent most of their time outside.
Nana C and Mrs. Nancy (confusing huh?!) made a delicious Thanksgiving meal,
and Chris smoked a turkey that was so yummy.
We loved our time with Bob, Court, Chris and Ashlea - they are so sweet to our children!

Of course, I have oodles of pictures, but here are a few...out of order, whoops!

Hiking with Papa and Daddy.

Emmaline loved all the empty water bottles on the porch for the ferns
and poured water in and out of them.

The big boys threw the football a bit.

Papa loved on his baby girl.

And he built the boys a rope swing!

Emmaline tried her hand at skateboarding.

The boys took turns with Chris.

Yummy!

Emmaline and her BFF.

My sweet sisters-in-law!

Two Roarks and a Poore.

We went to see some Christmas displays in the windows of a building downtown.

Ashlea, where are you!?

And here's the album!

Christmas Week

We've been celebrating Christmas this week with the Roarks in Chattanooga.
It's been a fun-filled week!
I took 1,018 pictures.
No lie.
I'll spare you and post just 14.

Here's a quick peek at the week.
Hee. Say that fast three times.

We gave Michelle and Shane a baby shower on Wednesday night.
So we spent most of Tuesday and Wednesday cooking, literally!
We celebrated Nana C's birthday at El Monterey. (Dec. 18)
Emmaline looked like a doll while we were there.
And we discovered she has a great love for animals.
She stands at the door most of the day, watching the dogs.
When Gordy, the cat, comes inside, she follows him everywhere.
The kiddos got in their traditional matching PJs on Christmas Eve.
Emmaline would have been happy with a big ole' pair of gloves for Christmas.
No words.
Elijah discovered the art of balancing things on his head.
They loved their bow and arrow sets from Uncle Chris.
And Emmaline's favorite gift, hands down, was a blanket for her big girl bed,
whenever that may come.
She nestled in it and kept motioning for me to spread it out for her.
(It's the same one on our bed that I love so much.)
We woke up to a White Christmas!
It was so gorgeous, and we probably got about 5 or so inches.
Chris and Bob made an igloo for the boys!
It was huge!
Then they went sledding for the first time.
They LOVED it!

Just kidding about the 14 pics.
You know me better than that!
There are 300 in the albums below.
