Rocking Her Baby
Last night, I got to play with Emmaline in her room for a few minutes before she went to bed because the boys went to bed early. (They've been sick.) I rocked her and read books to her, and she went to get one of her baby dolls and kept telling me, "baby rock, rock baby" so I'd rock her and the baby. She started pointing to herself and pushing me out of the chair so I realized she wanted to rock her baby.

Elijah's Soccer Videos
Elijah's loving soccer.
However, I'm not sure how much he's really GETTING it.
Who cares?
He's having a great time.
In the video below, he is supposed to be a forward, and he's supposed to be going after the ball.
He's on the far left.
Maybe he has a future as a track star instead?
And this time, he's the goalie.
He's up against the white wall.
Ummmm?
Focus, focus!
Reminds me so much of me...chasing bunny rabbits in the t-ball field...picking flowers...
and quitting soccer because "I got too sweaty."

Table Talk with Emmaline
Tonight, Emmaline ate some bacon while we made the burgers, then some goldfish because she was whining at my feet while I was getting dinner ready, then a whole burger (no bun), a bunch of sweet potato fries and about 592 Dibs. She was in a cute mood once she was full and content. I think it's hilarious she always looks like a wreck after dinner.

Luke 15 Gone Wild
Elijah can recite most of Luke 15 now, but this is what it's like to get there. "Family devotion time" should be fun and engaging. This one was really fun, but I'm not sure how much they were engaged. I know I've posted sweet little videos of them reciting catechisms, verses and hymns, but it's usually silly and crazy like this.
We used up our free weekly space on Vimeo so I had to use YouTube for the last one.

iPhone Fun
I got an iPhone, thanks to MED-EL. I put a few apps on it for the boys. One that they love is called "Talking Tom" and the cat repeats whatever you say. They crack up every time. I just love how Hudson throws his head back and laughs at the beginning.
(And don't you love the squabble they get into at the end?)

Emmaline Cruising
Emmaline has started cruising with her little walker!
She's still not close to walking on her own yet, and isn't standing without holding on either.
But it's a step in the right direction.
(Pun intended!)
I am all about my baby's milestones, of course.
However, the thing I love most about this video is her skinny jeans.
As Tyler Parker said, "There's nothing skinny on that girl."
But aren't those skinny jeans hilarious on her not-so-skinny legs?

Pledge and Prayer
One day, we realized that Elijah had learned the pledge of allegiance at preschool. We had no idea, and got a kick out of well he could recite it. After the pledge, they sing a little prayer.
(We love how he says "and too many blessings" instead of "your many blessings."
