Cookie Monster

Nathan, Nynke and Niall Schepker came over for lunch today after church, and Nynke left a few cookies for Nick on the counter. Later on, Mom and I were talking on the couch and heard Elijah say "uh oh" a few times. We kept talking and then he appeared with a chocolate chip cookie in each hand. And of course the rest fell into a pile of crumbs on the floor...prompting the the "uh ohs" that we heard. I loved how Elijah "tattled" on himself. I let him eat the cookies anyway (well, after all, Gran is here so we can make exceptions to our rules, right?).
