Elijah Says

At dinner, I commented on Elijah's "big boy" fork, which happened to be one of ours when we were younger.
He replied, "It has a bathroom on it."

Later, Elijah was jumping on towels in the living room. We told him to pretend they were lily pads.
He said, "Chip calls me Lily."

(Uncle Chip calls him "Little E" but apparently he's been hearing it as "Lily.")

This week, he has used phrases like "by the way" or "how's that for funny?" Where are these coming from!?
